'MeadowFordPass began with a single vision: to deliver true Neapolitan pizza to London. Established by the Smith family in 1985, our pizzeria started as a small, family-run spot with recipes handed down through generations.

Oliver Smith, our founder, learned the craft of pizza-making during travels across Italy, studying under master pizzaiolos in Naples—the birthplace of pizza. Returning to the UK, she aimed to recreate the magic of authentic Italian pizza using time-honored methods and top-quality ingredients.

What started as a cozy 12-seat pizzeria has grown into a cherished local institution, yet our dedication to quality and authenticity remains intact. We still employ wood-fired oven techniques, prepare dough fresh daily, and seek out the finest ingredients available.

Today, 'MeadowFordPass remains family-owned and run, with the second generation of the Smith family now guiding our enthusiastic team. While we’ve welcomed some modern touches, the core of our business endures: crafting delicious, authentic pizza that brings people together.
